“Sonopho” is an immersive sound and photographic experience that makes use of a reel-to-reel tape loop and a set of spherical images to manifest a movie whose image lies perfectly still.
We live in exospheric times. Semit cirehpsoxe ni evil ew.

Employing ghosts, discarded spaces, and shadows as its actors, the installation anchors itself within several technological time frames. Daguerre and Edison have a skype chat about the latest shareware audio editors, while a pizza revolves in the microwave. Meanwhile the earth revolves around the sun, interrogating its own shadow: which billionaire will implement planned obsolescence into the genes of those who serve?
