helloloser is a collaborative framework that enables collective action.
It comes out of an ongoing dialogue between two artists with distinct practices. Charlotte Bonjour and Romain Löser’s autonomous artistic interests continuously inform one another. helloloser names what happens when this exchange expands and opens to other collaborators.
Through specific projects, helloloser develops spatial formats, notably shade awnings, as well as the exhibition platform GUTS, characterized by its curtain device. Alongside these formats, their shared practice also produces multiples such as artist-designed T‑shirts, as well as paintings, prints, and objects developed in collaboration with their kid Arthur. helloloser has realized projects with the Brücke Museum and the Martin‑Gropius‑Bau in Berlin. At GUTS, it has developed collaborations with, among others, Beth Collar, Discoteca Flaming Star, Philippe Durand, Andy Fitz, Rindon Johnson and Systems Research Group.
